The programme outline
We collect application forms all through the year however April is the main time for recruiting. During this time we would ask you to complete our online form, which gives us details of your current role and past experience within the sector.
Your submitted application will be considered by the Sustainability Mentoring NW team, who will endeavour to match you with a suitable mentor. It is advisable to submit your online application as soon as possible as places are allocated on a first come first served basis. We cannot guarantee a place for all applicants.
Both the mentor and mentee are invited to attend an induction session on the 20th June. This meeting is designed to explain the process of mentoring and allow discussion of any expectations or concerns. At the completion of the induction you will be formally introduced to your mentor.
During this period you should meet with your mentor a minimum of four times which can be arranged at a time and place convenient to both parties.
This partnership is flexible and therefore meetings and methods of contact are to be agreed in the initial induction meeting. From this point forward the meetings are to be arranged at a time and place convenient for both parties. The mentee will take the lead in arranging these meetings and determining the topics they wish to discuss at each meeting.
