Sustainability Mentoring NW is a unique programme focusing on the environment, environmental technologies and sustainable communities sectors in the Northwest region.
The aim of the young professional mentoring scheme is for recent professionals with 1-5 years experience to seek advice from a mentor with 10 years + senior experience. The advice given by the mentors on this scheme will focus on helping the mentee to improve professionally so that they are able to move onto the next stage in their career. The focus will be on developing non-technical vocational skills.
The young professional mentoring scheme has been created by expanding the exisiting Sustainability Mentoring NW programme, which matches talented students and graduates with professional individuals who are willing to act as a mentor; providing knowledge, guidance and advice about careers in their sector.
This programme is funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency and managed by Envirolink Northwest in partnership with RENEW Northwest.
